College

So, I sent out six applications: St Johns (NY), Xavier (OH), IU, Purdue, St. Joseph's and Ball State (IN) and have recieved four acceptance letters so far. Its super exciting. I just found out I got into IU, and I already received letters from St Johns, St. Joe and Ball State. Its amazing how exciting a piece of paper can make you feel. The thing now is tho, I don't know where to go. I've ruled NY out for good probably, cause New York is big, right? and honestly, I love Indiana and small(er) cozy places. St. Joe looks amazing, but its private, which means its expensive. I applied for a full tuition scholarship there, and I should get it, but now im just waiting for that letter. I'm supposed to hear from Purdue in 5 weeks, and Xavier in 2. I can't wait to get out of high school. I mean, I'll miss it, but I'm getting bored. I need a new environment. I need adventures and fun, cause recently life has been meh at best. Well, I would love to continue this, but I have to go take a math test now...
ick.

Senior Year

Its hard to believe that im a senior already. I mean, we spend our lives in high school waiting to graduate, but then that day comes, and we realize what we haven't before: the rest of our lives await us. High school seems to be a little bubble in time where things are fairly certain, and if they aren't, they seem to be ok anyway. its almost the end of second semester now, and its hard to imagine graduation day, even tho now that i say that, i can see me in the robe walking down the aisle and i wonder... when that day comes, will i be ready to move forward in life?

I guess i will, because im ok with being away from home and i can make a living by myself, but i will leave my little bubble of safety, where bad things don't happen to often and where i have a group of people to support me. Now, i'll still have them, but they'll be spread out all across the country, and most likely, I'll still be here. Life is definitely moving forward, and honestly, I would be ok if it stopped for awhile, but as scifi has taught me, time stops for no one, and if it does, bad things happen.
